Troubleshooting

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing problems and our other support pages have been unable to help you find a solution.

In most cases where the CTEK charger does not function the fault lies elsewhere and not with the charger. An easy way to see if the problem is the charger is to TRY IT ON ANOTHER BATTERY that you know to be working. If this does not solve the problem you have two options:

OPTION 1
You may be able to return the charger to the retailer where you purchased for a refund or exchange. Check the local laws in your territory to see what your consumer rights are. You will probably need to have your proof of purchase available.

OPTION 2
If the product is within its warranty period you may be able to return it to us for a repair or exchange (depending on model). All CTEK chargers under 10 Amps output have a 5 year manufacturers limited warranty. 10 Amps and above is covered by a 2 Year manufacturers warranty. To qualify you will need to be able to show us your proof of purchase if we request it.
