No, CONNECT Cig Plug is an accessory available at most well-equipped car accessory shops. POWERSPORT comes with 6 mm diameter CONNECT Eyelet M6 eyelets, as well as CONNECT Clamps.
How do I connect POWERSPORT to vehicles with a 12 V outlet?
You can also use INDICATOR Cig Plug.
Connect the charger first to the vehicle's 12 V outlet, and then to the power socket. This is important as it ensures that the CAN bus port is opened.
Can I charge my car battery with POWERSPORT?
POWERSPORT is for batteries between 5 and 25 Ah in size. Car batteries are usually larger than this. We therefore recommend a larger charger for car batteries.

How do I connect POWERSPORT to vehicles without a 12 V outlet?
Batteries installed in vehicles should be connected according to the user manual. Connect the positive clamp (or eyelet) to the battery's positive pole (or positive charger terminal), and the negative clamp (or eyelet) to the chassis (or negative charger terminal). With a free-standing battery, connect the positive clamp to the positive pole and the negative clamp to the negative pole. Then connect the power cable to the power outlet.
Can I charge my gel battery with POWERSPORT?
Choose the required programme by pressing the Mode button, and the first light, "Check" shows. Charging is now under way.

Is POWERSPORT a simpler charger than the MXS 5.0? It has only three lights while the MXS 5.0 has eight.
No. Both chargers contain an eight-stage charging programme, but they show this differently. On the MXS 5.0 a light shows for every step, and the voltage and power curve is shown above and below the lights. On the POWERSPORT we've chosen to reduce the number of lights and instead just show which phase the charger is currently in – Check, Charge or Care. However, MXS 5.0 is a more powerful charger than POWERSPORT.
Can I use POWERSPORT with my moped?
Yes, if your moped has a 12 V lead-acid battery between 5 and 25 Ah in size.
POWERSPORT is correctly connected to the vehicle 12 V outlet and has charged for a while. Now the Power light is flashing. What does this mean?
The vehicle's CAN bus port is closed. The charger is waiting to start the next charging cycle. It will then open the CAN bus port again and continue with the selected programme.

What's the difference between POWERSPORT and other chargers?
POWERSPORT has an inbuilt function that opens the 12 V outlet's CAN bus system. POWERSPORT has three visible modes – Check, Charge and Care – which show where the charger is in the programme and what it's currently doing, i.e. checking battery condition, charging or caring (maintaining).

Yes, you can, if it has a 12 V lead-acid battery between 5 and 25 Ah in size.

Yes, you can. When the charger has completed charging, it switches automatically to long-term maintenance (Care).
