Mastering knowledge about our products and their applications is the key to sales success. Here at CTEK we recognise the importance of this, and so back in 2015 we launched our SKILLBASE training programme. This highly successful programme, that has received recognition across the globe, is helping our customers to gain comprehensive CTEK product knowledge. It is also supporting their staff to develop essential skills and understanding to maximise sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Training has historically been delivered via face-to-face training or our e-learning platform. Since COVID-19 hit however, we’ve taken a new approach to customer training and launched SKILLBASE training on-line. Our SKILLBASE colleagues have been regularly hosting webinars to help our customers develop a greater understanding about the importance of battery charging and product applications.

Topics covered on our webinars include:

THE IMPORTANCE OF BATTERY MANAGEMENT IN THE WORKSHOP

Today's modern vehicles are packed with complex electronics, so it's no surprise that as many as 50% of vehicles entering the workshop has a battery that needs attention. Ignoring the battery when undertaking diagnostic and re-programming work will only make things worse.

CTEK expert Asa Johansson looks at the importance of battery management and its crucial role for technicians working on today’s electronically complex vehicles.

CHARGING A DUAL BATTERY SYSTEM

When looking at a dual battery system, whether it's for a motorhome, boat, service vehicle or truck, it’s important that the equipment carried on-board is charged and ready to go. Installing a dedicated on-board charging solution for the service battery / batteries provides many benefits.

CTEK expert Asa Johansson explores the importance of a dedicated DC-DC on-board charging system, how it is set-up and how it will help save time, money and give you peace of mind.

LOOKING AFTER A VEHICLE IN QUARANTINE

As many vehicles have been parked up and stored for long periods of time due to COVID-19, we have seen a huge increase in the demand for information and advice about vehicle batteries and how to take care of them.

CTEK expert Asa Johansson looks at the huge demands complex vehicle technology is placing on the battery and how to ensure that when lock-down is over the car battery is charged and ready to go.

Further topics will be covered and uploaded to the same page.
