Terms and Conditions
SPONSOR: Competition sponsored and administered by CTEK, Inc.
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO BE ENTERED INTO A GIVEAWAY. Making a purchase does not increase odds of winning. There will be one winner.
2. ENTRY PERIODS: Entry for the initial CTEK Giveaway will begin April 2, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. Central European Time (“CET”) and shall remain open until April 31; with the entry window closing on April 31, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. CET.
3. ELIGIBILITY: You are not permitted to enter if you are CTEK employee or a direct family member or agent, or if you are otherwise associated with CTEK. Must be 18 years or older. Void where prohibited.
4. HOW TO ENTER: To enter a Competition, an eligible person must: (i) tag a friend, (ii) follow CTEK on Instagram or Facebook.
5. ENTRY LIMIT: The Entry Period for the final Giveaway closes on April 31, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. CET.
6. VERIFICATION: All purported Entries and/or eligible entrants are subject to Sponsor’s verification at any time and for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility in a form acceptable to Sponsor, including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification: (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in any Giveaway; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of an Entry, and/or (iii) for any other reason Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering the Giveaways in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid entry in a Giveaway will be Sponsor’s clock.
7. THE PRIZE: A CTEK Charger kit (estimated retail price of 190 - 220 USD)
8. WINNER SELECTIONS AND ODDS OF WINNING: After April 31, 2024, a winner will be selected by Sponsor at random among eligible entrants. Selected winners must have met the criteria for entry into the Competition.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries submitted and received during the applicable submission period for the Competition in accordance with these Terms. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The winner will be contacted by Sponsor (CTEK, Inc.) through direct message/ comment on Instagram or Facebook.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted as indicated above; then he/she may, in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the applicable prize) and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to randomly select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries for the applicable Competition (in which case, the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such alternate selected entrant, with the necessary amendments).
10. EXCLUSIONS: Prior to the Entry Period for any given competition, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, announce changes to these Terms and Conditions.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS: The competition are subject to all applicable federal, state and municipal laws, and void where prohibited. The competition will be used for brand recognition, accordingly, by participating, you are agreeing to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Anyone determined to be in violation of these Terms for any reason is subject to disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the sponsor at any time.
Neither Sponsor nor any affiliated party or employee or agent thereof will be liable for the failure of any entry or any other information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason. The confirmed prize winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes, if applicable, relating to the receipt of his/her prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend the competition (or to amend these Terms) in any way, in the event of an error, problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, failure or any other cause that interferes with the proper conduct or administration of the competition as contemplated by these Terms.
Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the competition in any way (as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the competition, or to amend these Terms, in any way without prior notice or obligation in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever that, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, is required to preserve the integrity of the competition. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.
By entering the competition, each entrant expressly consents to Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted for the purpose of administering the competition.
Sponsor reserves the right and, otherwise, without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in these Terms, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying any entrant, Entry and/or compliance with these Terms, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the competition as contemplated in these Terms.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Terms and disclosures or other statements contained in any Competition-related materials, including, but not limited, to point of sale, television, print, or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Terms shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. RIGHT TO DECIDE, AMEND, CANCEL, SUSPEND: If for any reason one or more of the competition is not capable of running as originally planned for any reason whatsoever, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend all or any individual Giveaway. The decisions of Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the competition are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Entries and/or entrants.
