CTEK moves to new headquarters

Falun is the new home of the global vehicle charging specialist CTEK. The 28-year-old business will from beginning of April be based at its new HQ on Strandvägen in Falun.

Around 70 CTEK team members are based at the headquarters where they research, develop and market the company’s award-winning range of low voltage battery chargers, professional workshop chargers and Electric Vehicle supply equipment.

For 28 years CTEK has been creating groundbreaking technology to improve vehicle battery health and the charging experience for vehicle owners and those who maintain them.

In recent years the company has become a leading designer and manufacturer of Electric Vehicle charge points and the hardware and software to enhance and optimise EV charging at destinations, car parks, apartment buildings and more.

Henrik Fagrenius, President and CEO, said: “The move to Falun is a natural step in our growth strategy. We wanted to stay in Dalarna and we want to grow.

“The new HQ provides us with more modern facilities and a home for a state of the art testing lab. It’s great to have the HQ teams together in a very attractive place to work.”
