Making EV parking (and charging) Easy
Electric Vehicle drivers in Sweden are enjoying an ‘easy’ ride when parking and charging thanks to the collaboration of payment solution provider EasyPark – part of Arrive, charging designer and installer E-Mobility and charge point manufacturer CTEK.
The integration of CTEK’s CHARGESTORM CONNECTED charge points with EasyPark’s system – enabled by E-Mobility’s expertise in implementing and commissioning Electric Vehicle (EV) charging – is appearing at more and more locations.
Borlänge-based E-Mobility is the Soltech Group’s company with specialist expertise in large-scale installations for electric car charging and high-efficiency charging infrastructure.
Since the company was founded, it has designed, installed and maintained thousands of charging points across large parts of southern and central Sweden. E-Mobility has been a partner with EasyPark since 2020.
Martin Götesson, CEO of E-Mobility, said: “We were one of the first to integrate EasyPark on CTEK charge points.
“The key thing for us when looking for a hardware partner is that the charge points are reliable and have great uptime plus can connect to all kinds of payment solutions
“We love working with CTEK when we do a new project. We manage other charge points from other manufacturers and we can see the difference. CTEK charge points have the best uptime and they’re very easy to work with when connecting to back-end systems.
“We must have installed more than four thousand CTEK charge points over the last four years, including a ski resort with 80 charge points all using EasyPark since 2022 and it’s still working just fine.”
Arrive, with brands such as EasyPark, is now present in more than 20,000 cities and 90 countries, with EV charging currently available at more than 55,000 charge points. EasyPark partners with CPOs (Charge Point Operators) who usually choose the hardware for sites.
Gustaf Lartén, Country Director Sweden at EasyPark, said: “Our overall perception is that the integration of EasyPark with CTEK charge points delivers a high-quality, seamless customer experience.
“The integration simplifies both parking and charging, supporting our shared goal of making cities more liveable through smarter, more sustainable mobility solutions.”
Mikael Norlander, Key Account Manager at CTEK, said: “We’ve worked with E-Mobility for many years, and their solid experience in EV charging installations really shows in projects like this.
“By combining their implementation skills with our future-proof CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 charge points and the EasyPark integration, we’re able to offer a reliable and user-friendly charging experience that meets today’s needs – and tomorrow’s.”
